As with most publications associated with the various extreme sound subgenres, this is the product of one man's passion and drive. In this case that one man is Cathal Rodgers, of Irish doom masters WRECK OF THE HESPERUS and the newer black doom outfit URNFIELDS, and solo performer of a variety of styles under his own name as well as the projects SPERMICIDAL, WEARY OF EMPIRES and WEREJU. As with most of his musical output, this tome comes with our highest possible recommendation.
