HUMAN LARVAE was born from the ashes of BROKEN DIODE. BROKEN DIODE released a handful of tapes and CDrs from 2006 through 2008, already exhibiting skilled noise in both the studio and the live environment. The name change to HUMAN LARVAE also marked a shift into making full length albums. Besides the Home is Where the Hurt is CD (Existence Establishment, 2008) and the Womb Worship CD (L. White, 2013), HUMAN LARVAE has only a handful of releases in its discography.

Freak Animal is proud to present the third full length HUMAN LARVAE album, his first in the vinyl format. Behind Blinding Light presents the diversity of this German band well. There is nothing else quite like it to emerge from German industrial scene. One could trace elements of other groups, such as the carefully crafted acoustic sounds of IRM, the gloomy semi-melodic tones and delay drenched vocal effects of PRURIENT, the utterly balanced and precisely tweaked mixing of CONTROL and the masculine roaring vocals of GRUNT... yet they all blend naturally into HUMAN LARVAE itself. The project shows its strength in the ability to fully master a wide variety of approaches and blend them together, be it the aggression of junk metal harsh noises, icy cold ambient tones or delicate acoustic experiments. If one could put together albums such as Order4, Seer Of Decay, Pleasureground and The Means To An End with an additional dose of personality, he could come up with such a unique album as Behind Blinding Light. Entirely different from the masses of faceless noise/power electronics/industrial recordings.

The LP comes with offset printed covers and four 15x15cm cards with artwork and lyrics.
