Hailing from the Northen Quebec region of Abitibi, BORÉALYS joins the Métal Noir Québécois pantheon with this first EP, infused with epic and melancholic soundcapes inspired by Nature, vast northern forests set ablaze by the colors of Autumn, decay, death and the freedom of the North. Composed of Abstrus (ex-BRUMES) on vocals/guitars, Julius (BLACK EMPIRE) on drums, and K. (WENDESS) on bass, the band plays refined and immersive mid-tempo Atmospheric Black Metal. With lyrics written entirely in French, BORÉALYS pay homage to their ancestors, their culture, and the history of their land.
