Among the many releases of 1993 on the legendary Slaughter Productions was a tape called Insanatorivm, issued by Marco Corbelli (ATRAX MORGUE, MÖRDER MACHINE) under the name of KRANIVM. This side project, conceived and completed in little more than a year, released other two tapes on Slaughter Productions over the next two years, The Brighter Edge of Death and I - The Blood. This last one was finally reissued in 1997 by the French label The Family Erzsebet with the title Chapter Blood, and a few tracks taken from the first two cassettes.

Insanatorivm and The Brighter Edge of Death are pure minimalist death ambient/industrial, reminiscent of the Swedish BRIGHTER DEATH NOW. Devoted to the occult, both releases lead you through a dark and nihilistic spiral. The third release, I - The Blood, is conceptually influenced by directors such as Amando De Ossorio, Jesus Franco and Ken Russell and by gothic and horror atmospheres.

A stunningly perverse fascination with sex, violence, and death crosses KRANIVM and all the other projects of Marco Corbelli; a fascination that he eventually would be swallowed up by himself.

Each record has been pressed on 140g black vinyl with black center labels and black inner sleeves. Each is housed in a deluxe black cardstock sleeve with silver silkscreening, and each includes an insert printed on n luxury 160g ivory paper. Each LP is packaged separately in a clear plastic sleeve to protect the record, cover and inserts from dirt, shelf wear and damage. This set is limited to 99 copies
