"More then several times I have been inclined to mention the Deep Blue Series of VIODRE recordings to curious individuals and always surprised to hear from both VIODRE collaborators and general fanatics of the project that none had even heard of these tracks. Even though my copy of the promo CDr J.ViBG distributed years back has started to degrade, at one time these tracks were available for download online, so it never occurred to me they were such unheard of material... present day, not even ViBG himself has the tracks in any form. So after a brief phone conversation it was deemed of critical importance to preserve the Deep Blue Series" on analog physical format as soon as possible.

Stylistically these recordings fit in with the harshest of VIODRE material. No ambient textures, no experimentation with blurring genres - aside from beginning and ending with some chopped up field recordings, these tracks are ripping walls of feedback, crashing cymbals, metallic & physical percussion, frantic ultra violent attacks, tortured vocal outbursts, and scathing, primitive unstable electronic noise.

To combat the flaws of digital recording and post-production techniques used on VIODRE albums, ViBG's method of recording live noise with various microphones and room recorders placed at different distances around blaring amplifiers is in perfected form here. These tracks, built from the resulting recordings, capture the ferocity of VIODRE live and hold an atmosphere all their own - one of intense personal feeling... surely something not found on your average harsh noise tape.
