12" LP · (Beläten)

LAKES return to Beläten, with a brand new, blistering dose of combat folk. On Arms in Twilight, the sixth album proper, Sean Bailey steps up his game even further (and that's no easy feat considering 2013's epic Blood of the Grove LP was our favorite release of that year, and a definite contender for the top 10 neo-folk albums of all time). From the opening martial rolls of "Carved Remains", via the hymnal grandiosity of "Dragon Current", and the sneering "The Rose Window", to the closing post-punk salvo of "Vertical Strain", Arms in Twilight is simply put an even more forceful, even more majestic, even more tuneful album, and another future classic of the genre.

As always, the LP comes with a complimentary download code.
