ARCANE NORTH is the side project of The Bearer, key member of what is now arguably a British Black Metal powerhouse, OLD CORPSE ROAD. It is finely crafted metal that takes you through the grim forests and barren moors of Northern England. The music carries your mind across images of desolate beauty and rain battered graves. It is maybe a more somber and aggressive release compared to the folklore-inspired Black Metal of OCR, however it retains the propensity towards melody and storytelling within the songs.
