VIOLENT HEADACHE formed in November 1988 in the Poble Nou industrial district of Barcelona. The band was founded by the Becerra brothers after their previous Hardcore band MIERDA split up. Toño handled drums and screams, with Chiko responsible for stringed distortion. They were very influenced by the pioneering noisecore bands like RAPT, 7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA, PATARENI, ANAL CUNT, HELLHOUSE, LÄRM, SORE THROAT, NOISESLAUGHTER. Their contribution to this tape as recorded in 1989, 21 tracks in abut the same number of minutes.

SLASH DEMENTIA featured Toño of VIOLENT HEADACHE on guitar, Albert on drums and David on vocals. They performed pure grind, with lyrics that talked about everything and nothing.Their tracks here were recorded in 1990. 18 songs in a bit over 20 minutes.
