LAST COPY!

Past to present, tense noise. Legacy electronics. Old into new into death. History repeating.

Ruminating starts with four live sets of some of the very first recorded DETERGE material. Manic and natural noise of sharp crunch and rumbling frequencies. Feverish shouts over feedback and power. Unpleasant and exhaustive but each piece entirely unique and traceably linked to the sound that is DETERGE. 10 years later and we're brought to a place in time deviated by all the instructive research and development displayed by pitch-perfect powerful electronics. Clashing sounds styles within the context of something that feels narrative and critical. Heavy atmosphere, eerie melodies, building drones of harsh insanity and a rugged vocal presence marked with intent and purpose. Closing out this archeological constitution of No Coast noise is a track buried somewhere in the middle paragraphs of history and style. Rough and unrefined but again distinctly similar to the legacy of sound. Blown-out static amidst bipolar vocal attacks and choppy cut-up electronics reminding you of how tense both past and present truly are.

NCNH is proud to present these storage pieces of material, ruminating in the sanctioned confines of Jim Haras and his ever-growing heritage. Distinct harsh electronics, recorded with quill and ink, dug up through the ages and presented anew.

Ruminating is the third release in the "Luminary Transmissions" series honoring the individuals who helped create and craft the "No Coast / No Hope" legacy.
